Artist's comments: “A charcoal, drawn from life, of two young Hurworth hounds that were being ‘puppy-walked’ at the yard where we kept our horses. They had a penchant for taking over the yard dog's bed (hence the title). Sprawled half in, half out and piled on each other while sleeping, they were just an irresistible subject.”
